Short dresses are okay on the beach in Bali, but try to be respectful with a length that’s more to the knee or longer when walking around towns (and definitely religious areas such as temples). Also, think about the shoes that you’ll feel most comfortable in while sightseeing. It’s probably best to bring a pair of flip flops for the beach and a sturdier pair of shoes or sandals for walking around touristy places/going on light hikes, etc.
